The idea is simple: relieve the joint at night, and rebuild the deep muscles by day. No drugs, no operating room, just five minutes a day at home, on your own schedule.

A man wincing and holding his aching shoulder at home
Sound familiar?

The pain that
follows you to bed

  • Aches at night and wrecks your sleep
  • Limits how far you can reach or lift
  • Flares up with any overhead movement
  • Has you quietly weighing surgery
  • Another cortisone shot on the horizon

If you nodded at even one, the Shoulder Reliever was built for you. It works on the cause, not just the symptom. See how it helps

The method

Two devices.
One simple routine.

Relieve the joint at night, rebuild the deep muscles by day. A daytime exercise and a nighttime support sleeve work together to break the shoulder-pain cycle in about five minutes a day.

The daytime weighted-pendulum exercise being used at home
By Day
Weighted pendulum

A 5-minute routine that gently opens the joint and rebuilds the deep rotator-cuff muscles.

The nighttime support sleeve worn while resting
By Night
Support sleeve

Keeps the shoulder aligned as you sleep, so you stop re-injuring it overnight.

1

Decompress

The daytime pendulum gently opens the joint and takes pressure off the rotator cuff.

2

Support

The nighttime sleeve keeps your shoulder aligned so it can rest and recover.

3

Rebuild

Progressive coaching strengthens the deep muscles, so pain has less reason to return.

Relief that addresses
the root cause

Not a patch over the pain. The system targets the joint mechanics and the deep muscles that let shoulder pain take hold in the first place.

Calm the pain

Gentle decompression eases pressure on inflamed tendons and the bursa. You'll be able to sleep through the night.

Move freely again

Strengthen the foundational muscles that rebalance the shoulder.

Return to activity

Head out to the court and grab a jug of milk from the refrigerator.

A path to try before surgery

A non-invasive, drug-free option you can start at home, on your own schedule, before you consider the operating room.

No drugs, no side effects

Drug-free and done at home, in about five minutes a day.

One payment.
No operating room.

Questions

Answers from
Dr. Carroll

Straight answers about how the night-and-day system works, and who it tends to help most.

5 min
a day is all the routine takes, on your own schedule at home.
Why does it work so well for nighttime pain?+
When you lie down you lose the gravity that normally keeps the spaces of the shoulder open. The nighttime sleeve helps keep those spaces open for blood flow and healing, while the daytime exercise strengthens the deep muscles that caused the problem in the first place.
Will it help shoulder impingement or a bone spur?+
It can help. By easing the impingement at night it helps break the injury cycle, and the daytime exercises strengthen the rotator cuff and draw the shoulder down, freeing up room under the bone spur.
I have a rotator cuff tear and want to avoid surgery. Can this help?+
Not every tear needs the knife, particularly long-standing pain.
Can I keep lifting weights while I use it?+
We recommend a 10-day break from upper body workouts while you start our system. This gives the small muscles of the shoulder a little head start to rebalance the joints.
Which side do I sleep on, and can I treat both shoulders?+
You can sleep any way except on the shoulder wearing the sleeve. Treat one side at a time at night and alternate, but use the daytime exercise on both shoulders.
